Testimonials from Professionals

Eric B., Law Enforcement Range Instructor, Colorado: "As a law enforcement range instructor, I have found the SureSight to be an invaluable tool particularly for shooters with less than perfect eyesight. The Sure Sight has virtually eliminated the need for one to assume an artificial head position to obtain an accurate sight picture."

Bob F., Retired SWAT Officer: "The bright yellow triangle seems to line itself up automatically... the SureSight is the fastest, easiest to align, most highly visible, close range defense sight I've ever used."

Carl S., Louisville Metro Corrections: "12 of the 15 officers I showed them to are ordering their own sets.”

How SureSight Works

1) Look where you need to look.
Keep your eyes on the target. SureSight’s triangle shows you the alignment without you “hunting” for the front sight.

2) Complete the triangle.
When the shape finishes, you’re aligned. Your brain does this automatically (Gestalt closure).

3) Confirm and press.
You get a clear, readable sight picture faster—especially when focus isn’t perfect.

Frank T.: “…really help these old eyes get on target… not just us ‘Old Guys’.”

How is this different from red dot sights?

Red dots can be excellent — but for many defensive shooters they come with a learning curve.

Under time pressure, it’s common to “hunt for the dot” unless you’ve put in consistent reps and built the presentation.

SureSight is different: it’s an always-ready iron sight that uses a simple visual pattern your eye picks up quickly — no batteries, no brightness settings, no electronics.

With any optic, you’re also taking on an equipment check routine (battery + brightness + lens care). Many agencies require transition qualification before duty carry and note that maintenance is the shooter’s responsibility.

If you love dots and train regularly, great. If you want something simple, rugged, and fast to see without changing how you run your pistol, SureSight is the easier path.

Why not just use the iron sights I already have?

Iron sights can work great — and there are many styles (dots, bars, U-notch, blacked-out, etc.).

The core challenge is the same across almost all irons: you’re still aligning a rear reference + front reference while trying to stay target-focused. Under time pressure (or when focus isn’t perfect), that’s where many shooters lose clarity and speed.

SureSight makes the alignment easier to “read” by using a triangle pattern your brain naturally completes (Gestalt “closure”). You spend less effort confirming the sight picture — and more attention where it belongs.

Is this patented technology?

Yes, and more patents are pending. Developed by a veteran of an IDF combat unit who has 20+ years as a firearms instructor. Tested and validated by U.S. law enforcement professionals.

Will these fit my holster?

SureSight's height was carefully considered to be tall, but keep compatibility with almost all holsters. It should fit holsters designed for your firearm. If your holster has a sight channel (most do), SureSight will slide right in. Not sure? Email us at [email protected] with your holster model and we'll confirm.

They look pointy...will they snag?

Every angle was considered when we designed these. They look pointy, but the geometry actually prevents snagging. They won't snag holsters or clothing.

Sources / training notes (for the detail-oriented)

Red dot transition training:
Many departments and schools treat pistol red dots as a separate skillset with dedicated transition training. Here are a few public examples that show typical course structure, round counts, and maintenance considerations.

Target focus under threat:
Human attention often locks onto the perceived threat during critical incidents, which can reduce awareness of other details. This is one reason many programs emphasize target-focused shooting concepts — and why sighting systems that reduce “visual effort” can help.

SOURCES

Instructor perspective:
Paul Howe (renowned instructor and retired Delta Force operator) notes that “16 hours and 500 rounds is not enough” for most shooters to truly transition to a pistol red dot Watch (6:21 mark).

Customer Testimonials

G.T.: "These sights are great... I can't believe how they perform in rapid fire. It's very easy to focus on the target and let the sights align themselves... well over 2000 rds with them on. I shoot better and better every time I shoot."

B.F., Nevada: "I didn’t realize how much I was ‘hunting’ for my front sight until I tried this. The triangle just shows up—especially when my focus isn’t perfect."

Bob F., retired SWAT: “The bright yellow triangle seems to line itself up automatically…”

  • Faster Sight Confirmation

Less time “checking” on the front sight. More attention where it belongs — on the target.

  • Your Brain Completes the Triangle

SureSight uses the Gestalt principle of “closure”. Your brain naturally wants to finish simple shapes, which makes alignment feel natural and instinctive.

  • Always-Ready Simplicity

No batteries. No brightness settings. No electronics. Simple, durable, always ready — so you can trust it.

The Problem with Traditional Sights

Traditional pistol sights require simultaneous focus on three points - front sight, rear sight, and target. This slows threat acquisition speed, especially under stress or in low-light conditions where split seconds matter.
